For Earl Haig, Earl Beatty, La Mosaique and RH McGregor Students – Fall 2026/27
Your child will thrive in our engaging and educational after-care programs this fall.
NEW – 3 Great Levels of Programming
JK/SK/Gr 1 – Creator – Designed to build your child’s confidence and foundational skills & knowledge, the Creator program will work on a variety of themes for children to build to. Using our learning through play pedagogy, daily creative challenges gives them the freedom to work in their interest area, while accomplishing a STEM task in a fun and engaging way. They’ll get a chance to work in small teams to build their social skills as well. As the year progresses, they’ll be introduced to Coding for Robotics, the Engineer Design Process and Critical Thinking at their level.
Grades 2-3 – STEM Plus – These are the grades where we’ll build your child’s foundational science, math and arts skills using experiential lessons that are both challenging and joyful. They’ll cover their Science & Technology, Math, Art and general STEM curriculum in the most hands-on ways possible. Each evening, they’ll work on a different task from the various subjects to keep things fresh and exciting for them each day.
Grades 4-5 – Middle-School Prep – For our older students, we’re going to engage them with weekly, cross-curriculum projects in our STORME format. On Mondays, they’ll be presented with a real world scenario and a problem to be. They’ll conduct experiments, go through the Engineer Design Process, do research, and more to arrive at their solution and make a presentation to their peers at the end of the week. Our instructional team will coach them each step of the way to develop good team skills and work habits. They’ll cement their knowledge of the curriculum and enter middle school with the confidence and skills to succeed in all areas.
General Information
Our team will pick-up your child from school, and walk them over to our location at 1502 Danforth Ave. They will have some free-time to enjoy a snack, chat with friends, or free-build with their cohort. At 4:15pm, they’ll engage in their cohort’s educational program for a 75 minute structured session. Afterwards, they’ll then have free time to read, get some homework help, play games or build until they are picked up. Pickup time is 6pm please.
Our class sessions are designed to match with various elements of the Ontario curriculum. They are hands-on activities that engage students at a different level than they would experience in school, with resources not available in typical classrooms. We use a cross-curriculum (STORME) approach to learning so your child will see how topics are inter-related giving them a better grasp of the “why” behind each learning goal.
Our team will take care of your child at a maximum ration of 10 to 1. Team members are First-Aid and CPR qualified.
For dietary and allergy reasons, we do not provide snacks, so we ask that you send along nut-fee treats for them to enjoy upon arrival. From time to time, we may provide treats such as freezies or popsicles.
