Over-Night Summer Camp 2026

Welcome to Brick Labs Muskoka

In June and July 2026, we’ll be offering 5 great weekly camps in Muskoka on the beautiful campus of Rosseau Lake College (RLC) for children aged 9 to 13.

RLC is renowned world-wide for its stunning 50-plus acre campus and student facilities. A perfect location for campers to explore their LEGO talents with regular outdoor activities to bolster their body and mind. RLC is located approximately 2.5 hrs from Toronto, on Hwy 141, midway between Hwy 11 and the 400.

Take a virtual tour of the campus.

Camp Overview

Each week, 24 campers will depart from Brick Labs North York Sunday morning and return to Brick Labs North York Friday afternoon via coach bus. Upon arrival at RLC, campers will be in shared (2-3 per room) student boarding facilities. Boarding houses have proper bathroom and shower facilities, common rooms and come complete with bed and bedding.

Meals will be taken in the RLC dining hall where students will have a great meal and snack selection each day (most dietary requirements can be met, please speak to us about unique needs before booking).

Similar to our city run camps, students will engage in 3 building activities and 3 outdoor activities per day, (periods will be longer as we will have the whole day to keep them occupied). Building activities will take place in state of the art classrooms (and sometimes outdoors). Students will be supervised by 3 staff from our regular Brick Labs team.

Joining us, will be 2 RLC staff who will be leading the outdoor recreation activities. Staff members will hold all necessary qualifications (First-Aid/CPR, Lifeguard, Rock Climbing, etc.) to ensure your camper is kept safe during all outdoor activities. Outdoor activities will include a variety of recreational sports, swimming, hiking, and more.

More detailed schedules and activities will be provided in the months ahead.

Camp Themes

The overall theme for this summer is: “Inspired by Muskoka”. This unique area of Ontario has been loved for centuries for its awe-inspiring natural wonders and the unique characteristics of its landscape.

June 21 to 26 – Coding and Robotics – FLL level – “Nature Explorer” . Campers will be tasked with building and coding a bot to solve a myriad of challenges when exploring the natural environment. In addition, students will practice creating and making presentations, mimicking the FLL Challenge Series. Perfect for students desiring additional FLL level challenges outside of the regular season.

June 29 to July 3 – Larger than Life Builds – We will be sending every spare brick (about a million, not joking) we have to Muskoka for this highly challenging week, where campers will be asked to “Scale-Up” their builds to 2x, 3x, or 5x its normal size. We envision 2 foot tall squirrels, toad stools and trilliums, but your child’s creativity will lead the way. This will be the first of its kind camp for Brick Labs campers.

July 5 to 10 – Engineering Marvels of Explorers Past – Imagine arriving in a remote area, with only the tools you carry and your own ingenuity. For this week, students will be challenged with creating innovative designs to support life in a remote area. They’ll harken back to a time when 2 ton stones and logs were moved and shaped without vehicles or electricity. We’ll explore and build in the classroom, and see if it really works outdoors! The majority of learning will be with LEGO Technic to understand physics and math to create structures, equipment and machinery that can truly be tested.

July 19 to 24 – Display Builder – Inspired by Muskoka – Campers will be creating a massive outdoor display, inspired by the campus they’ll be exploring. We imagine rocky outcrops, serene vistas, log cabins, forests teaming with wildlife and a lake as a centre piece, but it will all be up to the campers to create. The display they build will be the backbone of a new landmark display at Brick Labs for years to come.

July 26 to 31 – Coding and Robotics – FLL level – “Natural Disaster Response” – Campers will be tasked with building and coding a bot that can assist with rescue and recovery efforts for different types of natural disasters. Plucking survivors off of flood surrounded buildings, or carefully removing debris from an earthquake damaged tower are just some of the challenges they will work on this week. Perfect for students desiring additional FLL level challenges outside of the regular season.
